ClearCube Cloud Desktop Zero Clients deliver high PCoIP performance and robust security with the widest selection of options in the VDI market.

AUSTIN, TX – October 1, 2012 — ClearCube Technology announced the release of ten new PCoIP Tera2 Zero Clients today.

ClearCube Cloud Desktop Zero Clients deliver high PCoIP performance and robust security with the widest selection of options in the VDI market.

New CD96xx and CD76xx Series models include VMware-ready fiber/ copper, dual/quad display Zero Clients including options for integrated PKI-approved SIPRNet SmartCard readers and those included in ClientCube for multiple level security (JWICS, SIPRNet, NIPRNet) with NIAP-approved secure switching.

Cloud Desktop Zero Clients desktop devices connect monitors, keyboards, mice, speakers and USB peripherals to users’ VMware View Virtual Desktops on ClearCube SmartVDI hosts, ClearCube Blade PCs, or 3rd party VMware servers.

ClearCube Zero Clients are uniquely designed with durable metal case enclosures to tolerate rough use and with extra EMI shielding to meet secure facility requirements. All display connections use standard DVI (without DP conversion cables) and all models are TAA compliant.

“ClearCube continues to differentiate in the VDI security space with the release of our next generation PCoIP Zero Clients. We’ve taken extra steps such as a higher level of EMI shielding within our rugged metal enclosures to make sure security officers are completely satisfied,” said Jim Zakzeski, VP, Business Development and Marketing.

CD96xx and CD76xx models have Tera2 chips that support USB 2.0 transfer rates, AES-256 Suite B Ciphers and full power management with Wake-on-LAN. Supported resolutions are dual 1920×1200 or single 2560×1600 for dual display models and 4x 1920×1200 or 2x 2560×1600 for quad display models.

Also included with each ClearCube Zero Client is PortAuthority security software that allows specific and extremely granular policy-based management of USB devices including enabling/disabling functions based on individual ID, type of device, size of device storage, time of day, and more…
