Centralization Solution
Centralization initiatives are driven by organizations that want to remove PCs from the work area to improve ergonomics, reduce noise and heat, increase security by placing the computers in a datacenter, and achieve greater management efficiencies by centrally locating workstations in the data center. However, these organizations also want to retain the familiarity and features associated with dedicated PCs: high performance, application compatibility and no additional learning curves.
ClearCube’s deliverables:
Purpose-built Blade PCs that have PCoIP host compression adapters with integrated Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) and a variety of unique PCoIP end points
Hybrid VDI Solution
Hybrid VDI introduces the benefits of virtualized servers while retaining centralized Blade PCs for power users, senior leadership, and specialized 3D graphics applications. Hybrid VDI delivers the best of both worlds – virtualization’s higher availability, lower ownership costs, and better flexibility along with centralization’s benefits that minimize deployment risks because dedicated PC architecture is familiar to the support staff.
Implementers are motivated by PC centralization, but with a goal to virtualize in the future. Another Hybrid VDI common occurrence is where multiple level networks (SIPRNet, JWICS, CENTRIX, NIPRNet) may have different performance profiles, so some may require just VMs (1:n), while others may require dedicated (1:1) performance. The same ClearCube PCoIP Zero Client satisfies both power users running 3D graphics, streaming audio/video, fat client applications and task/knowledge VM application users.

Virtualization Solution
Virtualization delivers all of the benefits of centralization such as centralized management and administration, higher security, energy efficiency and improved workspace ergonomics but with greatly reduced hardware requirements. Processing resources are shared instead of dedicated. As compared to centralization, the many workstation class Blade PCs are replaced by fewer but more powerful VM Servers.

ClearCube’s V5320 and V5340 deliver stunning high definition video performance by combining a powerful nVidia® GPU and 1 GB video RAM with the remote workstation capability of the Teradici PC-over-IP® processor.
ClearCube’s V5320 host adapters are integrated into R3080D and A6105 Blade PCs to provide high-performance, dual monitor, high definition computing experience while clearing the desktop of the bulky PC and replacing it with a small footprint ClearCube Zero Client. When the ClearCube V5340 video card is added to the A6105 Blade PC, then enterprises can achieve quad-monitor video performance.
