What Is an Industrial Computer?
The term “industrial computer” can encompass a wide range of computing devices, from tiny Raspberry pi computers to large, complex, and specialized computer systems. Generally, however, industrial computers are computers that have one or more of the following features:
Passive cooling (fanless), sealed from moisture & dust, high heat operating range, mountable (brackets, rails, etc.), shock/vibration resistance, and specialized I/O ports
The more of these features a computer (thin client) has, the generally the more expensive it will be.
